Azure Cloud Sales Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Azure Cloud Sales Specialist to drive sales and business growth in Microsoft Azure cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud sales, account management, and solution selling. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure services, cloud adoption strategies, and customer business needs. The Azure Cloud Sales Specialist will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building strategic relationships, and delivering value-driven cloud solutions to enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets for Azure cloud solutions.
  • Identify, qualify, and engage with new and existing customers to drive Azure cloud adoption.
  • Build a robust pipeline of opportunities through direct sales efforts, partner collaboration, and market research.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and stay updated on market trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Customer Engagement & Solution Selling:

  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer business challenges and aligning Azure solutions accordingly.
  • Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and workshops to showcase Azure capabilities and benefits.
  • Work closely with technical architects and cloud engineers to design and propose tailored solutions.
  • Develop compelling business cases, proposals, and ROI analyses for Azure cloud adoption.

Pipeline & Revenue Management:

  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and update CRM tools regularly.
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycles, from lead generation to contract closure.
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Handle pricing, contract negotiations, and licensing models for Azure services.

Collaboration & Partner Engagement:

  • Work closely with Microsoft Azure teams, resellers, and cloud partners to leverage sales programs and incentives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (pre-sales, marketing, and customer success) to maximize customer value.
  • Represent the company in cloud events, trade shows, and industry forums.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in cloud sales, business development, or solution selling.
  • Must have done Bachelor of Computers.
  • Hands on experience in Microsoft Azure.
  • Proven track record of successfully selling Microsoft Azure cloud solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Azure cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), security, and cost optimization.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Preferred:

  • Microsoft Azure Certifications (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-305) are a plus.
  • Experience selling cloud migration, managed services, or hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Knowledge of AWS and Google Cloud (secondary knowledge) is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to align Azure solutions with customer needs.
